Bulldogs Picked 6th in Preseason NCHC Poll

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team has been picked to finish sixth this season in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), that as the preseason media poll was announced on Thursday.

The Bulldogs are picked to finish ahead of only Colorado College and Nebraska-Omaha, with Miami University receiving seven first-place votes to finish as the preseason favorite.

UMD will open the 2013-14 season at home Oct. 11-12 with a non-conference series against Michigan Tech, and the Bulldogs' first NCHC test will come the next weekend on the road against Colorado College.

Below are listed the full results of the preseason media poll, which included 16 members of the media (two from each team's market) that regularly cover their respective home team.
