'Dogs Fall to #13 in AFCA Poll After Loss

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) football team fell six spots to #13 in this week's American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA) Division II poll, that following a 21-17 loss to Minnesota State-Mankato.

In earning the #13 ranking, UMD continues its long streak of top 15 appearances in the AFCA Division II poll, with that starting Sept. 8, 2008.

The Bulldogs are one of three teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) to be ranked this week, with the others being #2-ranked Minnesota State-Mankato and #20-ranked St. Cloud State.
