Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) women's soccer team allowed two goals within one minute in the second half on Sunday, falling 2-1 at home to St. Cloud State.
Senior captain and Duluth native Kristi Mehrman put the Bulldogs ahead in the first half, putting a diving header past the Huskies goalkepeer off a free kick by UMD's Hannah Keil.
UMD is now (1-2) in this 2012 season and will next be in action on September 15 on the road to Winona State.
