Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Hibbing native and University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) outside hitter Kate Lange enters her junior year with the Bulldogs on pace to finish in the top three on the school's all-time kills chart.

Lange had 854 kills through her first two seasons at UMD, leading the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) in the 2011 season with 528 kills.

There is a chance Lange could catch UMD's all-time kills leader before her career ends, with Vicky Braegelmann holding that mark with 1,843.
