Pensacola, FL (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native and former University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) forward Keegan Flaherty has signed a contract with the Pesacola Ice Flyers of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), the team announced on Friday.

Flaherty spent four seasons skating for the Bulldogs, totaling 10 goals and 19 assists in his 148 career games played. He was also a member of UMD's first-ever NCAA Division I championship following the 2010-11 season.
