St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) standout Justin Fontaine scored his first career playoff goal as the Minnesota Wild got past the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2 to tie the Western Conference semifinals at 2-2 on Friday night.

Fontaine opened the scoring for the Wild before Patrick Sharp tied it at 1-1 for the Blackhawks. Jason Pominville, Nino Niederreiter, and Jared Spurgeon all added goals for Minnesota.

After giving up a questionable first goal, Ilya Bryzgalov rebounded with 18 saves including a stop on a Patrick Kane breakaway in the second period. The Wild are now (5-0) at home this postseason.

Minnesota and Chicago will face off again on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. in Game 5 at the United Center in Chicago, Ill.
