Former 'Dog Oleksuk Re-Signs with the Sharks

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) forward Travis Oleksuk re-signed with the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday afternoon, agreeing on a one-year, two-way deal, it was announced.

The 25-year-old racked up 19 goals and 21 assists for 40 points in 74 games with AHL Worcester last season.

During his time at UMD, Oleksuk amassed 45 goals and 70 assists for 115 total points.

In the 2011-12 season, Oleksuk finished second on the team with 53 total points in helping to lead UMD to the NCAA tournament for the third time in four years.
