Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Barnum, Minn. native Katrina Newman scored a game-high 21 points on Saturday evening as the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) women's basketball team beat Bemidji Stated 65-50 at Romano Gymnasium.
Hannah Rutten also scored 19 points in the game for UMD, those two being the only Bulldog players to score in double digits.
UMD improves to (5-2) overall this season and (2-1) in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
