Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Hibbing, Minn. native Kate Lange finished with a match-high 20 kills on Friday night as the #2-ranked University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep over MSU-Moorhead at Romano Gymnasium.

The performance puts Lange 64 kills back of UMD's all-time kills mark, a record that is currently held by 2007 Vicky Braegelmann.

Monica Turner finished with nine kills in the winning effort for the Bulldogs, with Sydnie Mauch and Maddy Siroin each adding seven.

UMD is now (19-1) overall this season and will next be in action Oct. 19 at home against Northern State, with that match set to start at 4:00 p.m.
