Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 19 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team needed a win on Saturday night to guarantee home ice in the first round of the conference playoffs but fell to Nebraska-Omaha 4-1 in their regular season finale.
Justin Crandall scored his 14th goal of the year for UMD to knot the game up at one a piece at the end of the first period. The Mavericks went on to rally off three straight goals to get the win.
