No. 5 Bulldogs Score 39 Straight, Win No. 10

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 5 University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) football team started off slow before scoring 39 straight points to beat Northern State University 39-7 to clinch a NCAA Tournament berth and win their sixth straight NSIC North Division title.

Redshirt freshman Drew Bauer ran for a touchdown and caught another en route to helping UMD win its eighth straight game. Austin Sikorski ran for a game-high 129 yards on 14 and one score to eclipse 1,000 yards for the first time in his career.

Junior wide receiver Zach Zweifel matched a career-high with eight catches. The Bulldogs racked up 468 yards of total offense while limited the Wolves to just 57 yards rushing and 205 yards overall.

Senior outside linebacker led UMD with five total tackles.

UMD (10-1) will find out on Sunday who they face in the NCAA DII Tournament.
