Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) women's soccer team scored a goal in each half, and sophomore goaltender Marissa Rosa earned her first shutout of the season as the Bulldogs beat the Peacocks 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Rosa needed just three saves to keep Upper Iowa off the board. She got offensive help thanks to goals from both Maureen Stormont and Kelli Klun.

With the win, the Bulldogs improve to (3-1, 2-0 NSIC) and will host Winona State University on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

UMD also honored its most prolific goal-scorer Jen (Warrick) Reierson at halftime. She became the first member of the women's soccer team to be inducted into the UMD Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday night.
