Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Aaron Roth and Austin Sikorski each scored two touchdowns on Saturday night as the #2-ranked University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) football team beat Winona State 38-16 at Malosky Stadium in Duluth.

Roth got the scoring started for UMD in the first quarter with an 89-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, then added a 15-yard scoring catch in the second quarter.

Sikorski, meanwhile, led the team in rushing with 113 yards on 16 carries, including the two touchdowns.

UMD honored the late coach Jim Malosky and longtime Bulldog Scott "H.B." Hanna before the game, two of the biggest legends and best ambassadors for the football program.

The Bulldogs are now (2-0) in the 2012 season and will next be in action on September 15 against Concordia-St. Paul.
