Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Grand Rapids senior Kenzie Kane is the big local name to have signed a national letter of intent to play women's basketball at the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD), with three others announced by the program on Tuesday afternoon.
Two of the other three are also Minnesota natives, those being Northfield's Allyson Harris and Hill Murray's Tessa Doolittle. The other recruit is a Wisconsin native, that being Rice Lake's Jenna Orr.
Kane averaged more than 17 points per game in her junior season at Grand Rapids, helping the Thunderhawks to the MSHSL Class AAA tournament.
She and the other three signees plan to join the Bulldogs starting in the 2013-14 season.
