Top-Ranked Gophers Shutout the Bulldogs

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The top-ranked University of Minnesota women's hockey racked up six goals en route to beating the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) 6-0 on Friday night at the Ridder Arena.

Kayla Black made 23 saves on 28 shots but was pulled for sophomore goaltender Karissa Grapp who stopped 11 of 12 shots.

Tea Villila returned to the Bulldogs lineup after getting back from the Sochi Games late on Friday night.

UMD will wrap up its regular season on Saturday against Minnesota at 4:07 p.m.
