UMD Rocks Omaha at AMSOIL Arena

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team scored the most goals it has since November 2009, beating Nebraska-Omaha 8-2 on Friday night at AMSOIL Arena.

Tony Cameranesi and Justin Crandall each scored twice in the winning effort, with Caleb Herbert, Dominic Toninato, Kyle Osterberg, and Cal Decowski each scoring once for the Bulldogs.

Aaron Crandall made 22 saves in goal to earn the win for the Bulldogs, a team that is now riding a three-game winning streak.

UMD is (16-13-4) overall this season, and any sort of conference point in Saturday's series finale with guarantee the Bulldogs home ice in the first round of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) playoffs.
