UMD Tabbed 11th in Preseason D2Football Poll

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) football team has been slotted 11th in the 2013 preseason poll put out by D2Football.com, which was released late on Monday night.

UMD posted an overall record of (10-2) in the 2012 season and qualified for the NCAA Division II tournament, but the team is tasked with replacing head coach Bob Nielson and four-year starting quarterback Chase Vogler headed into 2013.

The Bulldogs were slotted second overall in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) preseason coaches' poll, but the team was picked to win its sixth-straight NSIC North Division title.
