UMD's Farley Gets WCHA Rookie of the Week Honors

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Austin Farley scored on his first collegiate shift on October 12 for the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD), helping him to earn Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) rookie of the week honors.

Farley finished the weekend with one goal and three assists, helping the Bulldogs to a home split with Ohio State in the team's opening series of the 2012-13 season.

The UMD freshman forward also played a significant role on the Bulldogs' power play, helping the unit to a 35.7 percent success rate over the two games.
