St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Soon-to-be University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) sophomores Carson Soucy and Alex Iafallo have each been invited to participate in this week's Minnesota Wild development camp, the team announced on Monday morning.

Soucy was drafted by Minnesota in the fifth round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and also participated in this camp a year ago. In his freshman season with the Bulldogs, Soucy totaled no goals and six assists while playing on team's top defensive pairing.

Iafallo, meanwhile, is an undrafted free agent and will be attending Minnesota's camp on an invitee status. In his freshman season at UMD, Iafallo totaled 11 goals and 11 assists to finish as the team's second-highest scoring freshman.

The Minnesota Wild development camp runs July 9-14, with scrimmages open to the public at 2:00 p.m. on July 11 at Braemar Arena in Edina, Minn. and at 6:30 p.m. on July 14 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.
