UMD's Stormont Tabbed a Scholar All-American

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota Duluth junior Maureen Stormont was tabbed as a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAAA) 2013 Scholar All-America Team, it was announced on Thursday.

Stormont received Third Team honors after racking up a Bulldog record in 43 points while also posting a 3.67 GPA. She was also named an NSCAA All-American in high school.

Senior forward Dani Potter was selected to the All North/Central Region second team with a 3.81 GPA while junior defender Riley Allen was a third team member for her 3.68 GPA.

The All-American luncheon will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the NSCAA Convention.
