UMD's Vogler Earns National Player of the Week Honors

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) senior quarterback Chase Vogler has been named by d2football.com as the national Division II offensive player of the week, it was announced on Thursday.

Vogler accounted for 396 total yards this past weekend in a 70-24 win over Concordia-St. Paul, throwing for 296 yards and rushing for another 100 yards.

He played a part in five touchdowns in the winning effort, throwing for three and rushing for two before coming out of the game in the third quarter.

A fourth-year starter, Vogler currently rankes third among all Division II quarterbacks with a 71.8 percent completion percentage, and he is also sixth with a 181.4 passing efficiencty rating.
