  • UMD Teammates 1-2 at NSIC Championships

    Mankato, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) junior Amelia Maher was crowned indoor pentathlon champion on Sunday at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) championships, just edging out runner-up and teammate Chanel Miller.

  • After Sweep, UMD Down to 20th in USCHO Poll

    Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey team fell four spots to No. 20 this week in the U.S. College Hockey Online (USCHO) poll, which was released on Monday afternoon.

  • No. 6 Huskies Score Late, Sweep No. 16 UMD

    St. Cloud, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 16 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team tied No. 6 St. Cloud State midway through the third period before the Huskies scored the game-winning goal with less than two minutes to play 4-3 on Saturday night.

  • Sweden, Switzerland Advance to Semifinals

    Sochi, Russia (NNCNOW.com) --- Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) standout Pernilla Winberg finished with three assists to help Sweden past Finland while current Bulldog Lara Stalder scored on the empty net to lift the Swiss past Russia.
