Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UMD senior Jack Connolly and sophomore J.T. Brown were named Friday as NCAA All-Americans by the American Hockey Coaches Association (ACHA).
Connolly, a Duluth native, joins Norm Maciver as the only Bulldogs to ever earn ACHA All-American status three times in a career.
The Duluth native finished this season second in the nation with 60 points and was also named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association player of the year. He was named to the ACHA first team for the second time in his career.
Brown, meanwhile, was named to the ACHA second team, marking his first All-American selection.
The UMD sophomore established career highs in every offensive category, recording a team-high 24 goals and 47 points this season. The Burnsville native also became the first-ever Bulldog to score three hat tricks in a single season.
UMD has produced 25 All-Americans in its men's hockey history, including eight in the past nine seasons.
