Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The UMD softball team swept a home doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon, beating Minnesota State-Moorhead 5-1 and 11-3.
Hermantown native and UMD sophomore Megan Mullen pitched a complete game one-hitter in the first contest, improving her record to (18-10) this season.
Freshman Jordan Rice was the star of game two, batting 3-for-3 with two runs scored and three runs batted in.
