Former Agate Lifts 'Jackets to Shutout Win

Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Two Harbors, Minn. native Katelyn Adams scored the game's lone goal on Wednesday afternoon, leading the UW-Superior women's soccer team to a 1-0 home win over North Central.

Adams' goal came on a rebound midway through the first half, and Kalea Hatlewick and Alexandra Paige combined on a shutout for the Yellowjackets in the winning effort.

UW-Superior improves to (3-8) overall this season, and the team will next be in action October 6 at home against UW-Whitewater. That game is set for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff at Public Schools Stadium in Duluth, Minn.
