'Jackets Men Control 90 Minutes, Blank Red Hawks

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The UW-Superior men's soccer team controlled the game from start to finish on Saturday afternoon, beating Ripon 3-0 at Public Schools Stadium.

Ben Royce and Ryan Linsmayer scored first half goals, and Brian Chapman added a tally in the second half to account for the scoring in the winning effort on Saturday.

Matt Elder made just one save in earning the win and the shutout for the Yellowjackets, with the team improving to (9-6-2) overall and (1-1-1) in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
