Three Yellowjackets Catch WIAC Honorable Mention

Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Three UW-Superior baseball players have been given honorable mention for their play this season in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), it was announced on Tuesday.

Pitcher Ethan Bramm, infielder T.J. Evanson, and outfielder Wyatt Soderquist were the three Yellowjackets honored, that after helping the team to a (17-22) record this season.

Bramm went (4-4) on the hill, finishing the year with an earned run average of 3.23 while recording a team-high 41 strikeouts.

Evanson, meanwhile, hit .307 this season for the Yellowjackets and racked up a team-high 41 runs batted in.

Sodqerquist rounds out the honorable mention honors after hitting .373 this season with a team-high 53 hits and 36 runs batted in.

UW-Superior sophomore outfielder Tom Fairbanks was also named Tuesday to the WIAC all-sportsmanship team.
