Trio of 'Jackets are First Team All-WIAC

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Three UW-Superior men's soccer players have been named to the all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) first team, it was announced on Monday afternoon.

Junior midfielder Nate Engel is the lone Yellowjackets to make a repeat appearance on the first team, with junior forward Ben Royce and junior defender Alex Young both earning the honor for the first time.

Sophomore goalkeeper Matt Elder and senior defender Brian McBride also received all-conference honors, being named to the second team for UW-Superior.

The Yellowjackets finished the season with a (12-6-2) overall record and second in the WIAC with a mark of (2-1-1).
