UWS' Byrne, Peterson Earn WIAC Honors

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- UW-Superior senior center Bronson Byrne and senior guard Jarrod Peterson have both given all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) honorable mention, it was announced on Wednesday.

Peterson was the conference's leading scorer this season, finishing the year with 503 points for an average of 20.3 per contest. He also finished seventh in the WIAC in field goal percentage and eighth in three-point field goal percentage.

Byrne, meanwhile, averaged 11.1 points per game and was fourth in the conference by averaging 6.4 rebounds per contest. He entered the season as the all-time WIAC leader in field goal percentage, and he graduates as one of the most accurate shooters in conference history.
