UWS Men Tie No. 2 Loras, Women Fall to DuHawks

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Wisconsin-Superior)(UWS) men's soccer team hosted No. 2 Loras on Saturday afternoon and played to a 1-1 tie in a game that was called in overtime due to lightning.

The Yellowjackets took the lead in the second half thanks to a goal from Ben Royce on a penalty kick.

UWS goaltender Matt Elder came up big with a save on a penalty kick of his own, but Loras College eventually tied it up at one with 45 seconds left in regulation.

The game was called one minute into overtime due to lightning.

On the women's side, the DuHawks took control of the game early and never looked back, cruising by the Yellowjackets, 7-0.
