Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- UW-Superior senior forward Ben Aalfs was named Tuesday to the first team all-conference team in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
Aalfs helped the Yellowjackets to a (14-12) record this year and a sixth place conference finish.
The senior forward also hit two game-winning shots at the buzzer this season for UW-Superior, both against WIAC opponents.
Fellow Yellowjackets senior and Superior native Dustin Ritchie joined teammates Brendan Bauer and Bronson Byrne in earning all-conference honorable mention.
Ritchie, a former Superior Spartan, also named Tuesday to the WIAC all-sportsmanship team.
