Yellowjackets Picked to Finish Fourth in WIAC

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The UW-Superior men's soccer team has been picked to finish fourth in this year's Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), that according to a poll of league coaches and sports information directors released on Wednesday.

The Yellowjackets received two first-place votes in the poll, with UW-Platteville selected this season as the conference favorite.

The team returns 10 of 11 starters from last year's team that finished second in the WIAC, including leading scorer Ben Royce and starting goalkeeper Matt Elder.

UW-Superior was (12-6-2) in 2012 and (2-1-1) within the WIAC, marking the third consecutive season the team has notched double-digit wins --- the longest such streak in program history.
