Big Fifth Inning Gives Huskies Series Sweep

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth Huskies scored four runs in the fifth inning on Monday night to get a 5-2 win over the Rochester Honkers at Wade Stadium, completing a two-game sweep for the home team.

Six players had a single hit in the game for Duluth, with four of those players knocking in a run as part of the winning effort.

Jake Heissler earned the victory on the hill, allowing just one earned run on four hits across six full innings and adding four strikeouts.

Duluth is now (8-4) in the second half of the Northwoods League season and sits in third place of the north division.
