East Boys, Denfeld Girls Earn Soccer Wins

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth East boys' soccer team scored two goals in the first half and two more in the second half to beat Denfeld, and in the girls game, it was the Hunters with two second half goals to jump past the 'Hounds.

In the first game of the doubleheader, the East boys' team won their second straight game with four goals, 4-0. The 'Hounds improve to (6-3-1) and play St. Francis on Saturday. The Hunters fall to (2-5-0) and will play Chisago Lakes this weekend.

On the girls side, both teams played to a scoreless first half until Denfeld got on the board with the two goals to win it, 2-0.The Hunters face Duluth Marshall on Saturday while the 'Hounds play Apple Valley.
