CSS Advances to UMAC Championship Game

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native Kara Warren blasted a three-run homer to lead St. Scholastica past the University of Minnesota-Morris 5-3 on Saturday to advance to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship game.

The Saints have now won 25 straight games at home dating back to the 2011 season. Tiff Hudack also recorded an RBI for the Saints along with Kasandra McCabe.

Chrisi Mizera pitched a complete game for CSS, giving up three runs on seven hits while fanning three.

St. Scholastica will face Northland on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. for the UMAC title at Kenwood Field. If the Lumberjills win game one, then a second championship game will be played at 2:00 p.m.
