Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) volleyball team is the newest top-ranked team in the country, that according to the latest American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) Division II poll released on Monday.

The Bulldogs received 33 of a possible 48 first-place votes, earning the #1 spot for the first time since Oct. 31, 2011 and for the 10th time in program history.
