Eight Locals to USA Development Camp

(NNCNOW.com) --- Eight Northland hockey players have been invited to USA Hockey's national development camp this summer, with another three players invited who have committed to play collegiately at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Duluth East's Nick Altmann, Cloquet-Esko-Carlton's Koby Bender, and Hermantown's Wyatt Aamodt will attend the 17-year-old camp, with that scheduled to run from June 26 until July 2 in Amherst, N.Y.

Also attending the 17-year-old camp will be UMD recruits Kobe Roth (Warroad) and Nick Swaney (Lakeville North).

Duluth East's Ash Altmann, Duluth Marshall's Luke Dow, Hermantown's Cole Koepke, Grand Rapids' Mitchell Mattson, and Hibbing's Scott Perunovich will all attend the 16-year-old camp, with that one set to run from July 7 until July 13 in Amherst, N.Y.

Also attending the 16-year-old camp will be UMD recruit Riley Tufte (Blaine).
