Express Knock Off Huskies at Wade

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Eau Claire Express scored a run in the top half of the first inning on Monday night and led the rest of the way, beating the Duluth Huskies 7-3 at Wade Stadium.

Trent Chatterly, Michael Tinsley, and Nolan Johnson each had a single run batted in for the Huskies in the loss, while starting pitcher Mitchell Bauer went 5.1 innings and allowed six runs on nine hits.

Hermantown, Minn. native Kevin Folman also got on the hill for Duluth, throwing 1.2 scoreless innings while allowing only one hit and notching a strikeout.

Duluth is now (10-13) in the second half of the season and will again host Eau Claire at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
