Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn.-based professional boxer Al 'Haitian Temptation' Sands will fight next month for the vacant North American Boxing Association (NABA) U.S. Cruiserweight title, it was announced by Jungle Boy Boxing on Thursday afternoon.
"It wouldn't be possible without everyone that I have on my side," Sands said. "We're just going to keep doing what we do. That's fight and win."
Sands, who already holds the Minnesota Cruiserweight title, will fight Keith 'No Holds' Barr for the NABA championship, with that 10-round bout part of a scheduled card on April 19 at Black Bear Casino.
The 'Haitian Temptation' is (12-1) in his professional career with 11 wins via knockout, but this will be his first-ever shot at a national belt.
