Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Both the Hermantown and Lakeview Christian Academy boys' basketball teams earned wins on Tuesday night, with each coming against a section opponent.
The Hawks knocked off Duluth Denfeld by a 75-63 score, moving that Hermantown team to (23-3) this year and marking its regular season finale. The Hunters drop to (3-20) after the loss.
The Lions, meanwhile, got 26 points from sophomore guard Bjorn Broman in a 78-65 win over Ely. Lakeview Christian is now (15-10) this year with one game remaining in the regular season.
Ely senior guard Jared Poderzay surpassed 1,000 career points in the losing effort for the Wolves, moving them to (19-4) this season.
