Hawks Ousted in State Quarters by Waconia

Lindstrom, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Hermantown boys' soccer team was ousted in the MSHSL Class A quarterfinals on Friday night, falling to #2-seeded Waconis 5-0 in Lindstrom, Minn.

The Wildcats scored two goals in the first half of the game and continued to pour it on in the second, with Anthony Shuster and Charlie Spurbeck each finishing with two goals in the game.

Josh Lenard finshed with eight saves in the game for Hermantown, with the Hawks making that program's first state tournament appearance since a runner-up finish in 2009.
