Huskies Bats Come to Life, Blow Out Thunder Bay

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- WIth nearly 4,000 in attendance, the Duluth Huskies went on an offensive outburst with 16 hits and runs en route to blowing out Thunder Bay 16-7 on Sunday afternoon at Wade Stadium.

Keith Curcio led the way with 5 RBIs while Brad Wilson knocked in three runs. Kyle Teaf and Michael Suiter added a pair of RBIs.

Parker Trewin got the win on the mound for the Huskies, throwing five strong innings while giving up three runs on six hits.

The Huskies will be off until Thursday when they travel to Thunder Bay to face the Border Cats again at 6:05 p.m.

The Northwoods League All-Star is set for Tuesday in Eau Claire, Wisc. with Duluth outfielder Keith Curcio and pitchers Clay Chapman and Nate Carter slated to participate.
