Huskies Beat Express in Rain-Shortened Game

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth Huskies scored two runs in the first before adding three in the third to get past the Eau Claire Express 5-1 in just five innings on Tuesday night at Wade Stadium after the game was called due to weather.

Huskies hurler Chris Kelly lasted five innings, giving up just one run on three hits while striking out two.

Vinnie Rodruiguez led Duluth with an RBI while Eau Claire committed three errors.

The Huskies will play in a doubleheader on Tuesday against the Border Cats. Game 1 will be in Thunder Bay at 11:05 a.m. before the two face-off at Wade Stadium at 7:05 p.m.
