Huskies Hang on to Sweep Alexandria

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) The Duluth Huskies used a four-run first inning and solid overall pitching en route to a 5-3 win and series sweep over Alexandria on Sunday at Wade Stadium.

Patrick McGrath got the win for the Huskies, pitching five innings and allowing two runs on five hits. Nate Carter threw a 1-2-3 9th inning to get the save.

Michael Suiter, Christopher Harvey, and Justin Hazard all had an RBI for the Huskies.

Duluth travels to Willmar on Monday to take on the Stingers at 7:05 p.m.
