Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Two late-inning runs on Wednesday night gave the Willmar Stingers a 2-1 win and a season-opening sweep of the Duluth Huskies at Wade Stadium, meaning fans will have to wait until at least the weekend to see the year's first home win.

The late runs spoiled a solid performance by Duluth starting pitcher Dylan Barrow, who went six scoreless innings while allowing only one hit and striking out 10 hitters.

Mac James was the offensive leader on the night for the Huskies, going 2-for-4 and knocking in the team's only run in the bottom of the sixth.

Duluth is now (0-2) this season and will be on the road Friday against Thunder Bay, with that game scheduled to start at 6:05 p.m.
