MI-B Falls to Win-E-Mac in State Quarters

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The No, 3-seeded Mountain Iron-Buhl girls' basketball team had three key players foul out in the second half on Thursday night in what turned out to be a 73-62 loss to Win-E-Mac in the MSHSL Class A quarterfinals.

Mya Buffetta led the team with 21 points, and in the second half she and Allie Negen each hit timely three-pointers that at one point brought the Rangers back within one point of the Patriots.

Buffetta ended the game as the only Mountain Iron-Buhl player in double digits, with Chelsea Mason ending with nine points and Sarah Overbye with seven in the losing effort.

Mountain Iron-Buhl ends the season with an overall record of (28-3).
