Cloquet, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Cloquet, Minn. native and 18-year NHL veteran Jamie Langenbrunner is back in town for the 82nd annual Cloquet Country Club Invitational, a tournament he calls a highlight of his offseason.

"Having grown up in town here and watching it as a kid, now getting the opportunity to play in it and sneak out a win one year was a semi-dream come true," said Langenbrunner. "You see a lot of the same faces every year, and a lot of guys come from all over to come play in it."

Langenbrunner's first and only title at the Invitational came in 2009, but he says all he hopes for every summer is to be in the hunt for the final round.

Duluth, Minn. native and 2012 champion Dan Moline is also in this year's field, and he offered some words of advice before teeing off in Friday's first round.

"You pick your chances," said Moline. "It's a very narrow golf course. You can find yourself in trouble, especially on some holes on the back nine. It's really about managing your golf ball out here and making sure you keep it in play."

You can find the results of Friday's first round at the
Cloquet Country Club web site. The tournament is scheduled to continue through the weekend.
