No. 8 Saints Use Power Play to Beat Bulldogs

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 8 St. Scholastica women's hockey team scored five power-play goals en route to blowing out Adrian College 7-3 on Friday night at Mars Lakeview Arena to extend their unbeaten streak to 10 games.

The Saints scored three first period goals thanks to Kaitlin Johnson, Isabel Waidacher, and Briget Cojocar. Waidacher added another goal in the second and her sister, Monika Waidacher, also put one in. Nina Waidacher scored two goals in the third.

CSS goaltender Lindsey Hartfiel recorded 31 saves in the win.

St. Scholastica (8-0-2) and Adrian College (6-3-0) meet again on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Mars Lakeview Arena.
