SHS' Lindstrom Up For ESPN Wisconsin Award

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Superior senior forward and UW-Green Bay commit Jessica Lindstrom is one of three finalists for ESPN Wisconsin's girls' basketball player of the year award, it was announced on Tuesday.

Lindstrom is joined as a finalist by Mackenzie Latt of Sussex-Hamilton and Arike Ogunbowale of Divine Savior Holy Angels, with the award set to be handed out April 24 in Milwaukee, Wis.

The Spartans senior averages 21.2 points and 16.9 rebounds per game this season, and she was also named on Tuesday the state's top senior post player by the Wisconsin Sports Network.

She and Superior have advanced to the WIAA Division 1 tournament for a second straight season, with the team's quarterfinal game against Mukwonago scheduled for 8:15 p.m. on Friday in Green Bay, Wis.
