Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) junior Maureen Stormont scored two goals in the second half on Friday afternoon to lead the Bulldogs to a 2-0 win over Southwest Minnesota State in the third round of the NCAA Division II tournament.

Stormont's first goal came in the 67th minute on a penalty kick after a Mustangs defender was called for a handball in her own goal area, and her second came just 11 minutes later to account for the 2-0 scoreline.

Marisa Rosa made three saves, all in the second half, to record her second shutout of this national tournament for the Bulldogs.

UMD will now take on Grand Valley State in the NCAA Division II quarterfinals, with that game scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Nov. 24 at Malosky Stadium in Duluth, Minn.
